1. Choosing the Right Pool Chemicals

  3. Algaecide: Prevents green water and algae build-up.

  4. Clarifiers: Help make your pool water crystal clear.

Tip: Always test your water before adding chemicals to ensure you’re using the correct amount.


2. Maintaining Proper Water Balance

For safe and sparkling pool water:

  1. pH level: 7.2–7.6

  2. Chlorine level: 1–3 ppm

  3. Alkalinity: 80–120 ppm

Regular testing keeps your pool healthy and prevents cloudy water or skin irritation.


3. Keeping Your Pool Clean

A clean pool isn’t just about chemicals — it’s about routine care.

  1. Skim leaves and debris daily.

  2. Brush the walls and floor weekly.

  3. Check and clean your filter regularly.

4. Dealing with Cloudy or Green Water

If your pool water turns cloudy or green:

  1. Test your chlorine and pH levels.

  2. Shock your pool using granular chlorine.

  4. Add a clarifier if needed.
